No Stud or Single Stud Install - Drywall Anchors and the Hovr Slim

If you use drywall anchors on the Hovr Slim (Because you are in only 1 stud, or no studs at all), you may find that the screws provided are too small for the EZ-Load drywall anchors when used in the pre-drilled holes in the bracket.

Remember, we always recommend you install the bracket into 2 or more studs, so we are already outside the standard use here. That being said, there are solutions here, and for whatever the reason, you could not hit 2 studs for your install, so we move forward from here.

The easiest solution for this is to use the square washers we sell on our website to enable a secure fit. Note that these are slightly off center on the thin side, so you'll need to ensure you have the side with more material at the bottom, and the side with less at the top or it will not fit under the lip and into the groove in the bracket.

As you can see above, this will fit in to the bracket, allowing you a solid attachment point for your screw and anchor here.
